My name is Pamela Murry, and I am the proud Founder and CEO of Sweet P Pantry & Closet INC. The inspiration behind this nonprofit begins with my roots. My mother and father are from Belize, a beautiful country that will always hold a special place in my heart. Through my family's experiences and my connection to Belize, I have seen and understood the challenges that many individuals and families face when it comes to accessing basic necessities such as nutritious food, clothing, and proper footwear.
As a developing nation, many villages in Belize continue to struggle with poverty and limited resources. Knowing these realities has fueled my passion to make a difference wherever I can. My desire to serve is also deeply personal. Growing up, I did not have the opportunity to share life with my sister the way I would have wanted, and I know that she faced many struggles throughout her life. Her experiences helped shape my understanding of hardship, resilience, and the importance of having someone who cares.
Because of these experiences, I have developed a heart for helping others. I believe that every person deserves dignity, compassion, and an opportunity to succeed. Through Sweet P Pantry & Closet INC, I strive to extend love and support to people who may not be related to me by blood but are part of our greater human family. My goal is to do my part in ensuring that children, families, and individuals have access to the resources they need to thrive and to know that someone believes in them.Together, we can make a difference—one family, one child, and one community at a time.
